“HOME OFFICE” – MOOBAAN ESTARA HEAVEN @ PATTANAKARN 20 [INDIVIDUAL INTERIOR DESIGN]

“Mixed use functional home-office for a cat loving family with a feeling of luxury while retaining a cozy home environment” – These were the requirements from the owner. The combination of luxury and cozy created a challenge for the BEYOND team to fulfill both requirements while striking a balance.

After receiving the requirements for the 3 storey home office with 240 sqm. usable space, our team started working on the layout and breaking it down into functional zones and areas for work and family use.

The 1st floor space had clearly been divided into separated office and dining zones with 2 independent entrances / access points. The Thai kitchen has been designed as an additional construction work at the backyard area to enlarge a semi-outdoor area for maid and cook usage.

The 2nd floor uses a special unique concept to double volume space with a 6.5m ceiling, which we designed to decorate with mirrors and stone veneer feature walls. The combination of mirrors and stone veneer walls is intended to make a most cozy and luxurious area for a family to enjoy a spacious living room. Another highlighted room on the 2nd floor is an elder’s bedroom, which has been designed in a classic modern style with a milky-white color spray coated furniture finishing.

The entire 3rd floor area has been dedicated as the daughter’s master bedroom, which consisted of a few functional areas such as a sleeping area, relaxing area, working area, dressing area, cats’ play area and bathroom. To keep the cats separated from the bed area at night, we decided to make glass folding doors with aluminum frames. The overall mood & tone concept is based upon the owner’s style preference with the spray paint coating finishing to make the home evoke feelings of both luxury and sweetness. One more unique point for this room is that we used water-proof, dust-proof and pet-hair-proof materials for long term living.

As a result of our team, the client’s family is satisfied with our layout and interior design development with careful selection of materials and the forethought given to functionality.
