“M.D. ROOM” – SINGHA COMPLEX @ MRT PHETCHABURI

An office interior design project for BEYOND DECOR, this time, is to decorate and design the M.D. Room. The requirement was clear; a futuristic looking office to tear down the norms, so our design team came up with a total modern theme: the shapes to color schemes are combined with functional focus. The client wanted this space to fall under a Smart Office Concept for the young-generation workers.

The overall color palette of this design is dark to emphasize the warm tone of the woods. To create a softer yet eye-catching element, we added decorative lines in certain places. A pop of color from the trees help soothe the eyes from a busy day at work.

Unique project highlights:

• Precise planning: working and non-working spaces are divided with different use of materials yet the color synchronizes well with one another
• Curved walls are created at each corner of the room to reduce harshness and add a soft point of focus when needed
• The 3.40-meter high glass walls are installed as a room divider, resulting in an organized yet open-air feeling working space
• General Area: Vertical pattern walls are put in place along with unique-design trees that are planted along the way to create freshness to the area
