“NEW LIFE STYLE” – MooBaan The City Ratchapruek @ Charan Sanitwong 13

This is a space renovation project, the customer informed our team that one of the main requirements for us is to make the new and the old area cohesive and consistent. The theme and feel of the decoration must reflect luxury, as this space will be used to entertain various guests, parties, and also for the children to spend time in. As a result, the Beyond Decor team presents the customer with the design concept of “New Lifestyle”.

Our customer is a very energetic, future-forward individual who is keen on luxurious elements as well as socializing. Our team divided the space into separate sections, added classic and luxurious elements from original materials and wood to integrate both the new and existing space together. The main hall is divided with the partition, using dark wood and battens with various designs to create a sense of fun and excitement. The partition also serves as the hall and living room divider.

The new area our team created is a reception and party area. We decorated the space with a rather large sofa set so that the customer can welcome many friends and guests over at the same time. The walls have bright colors, with a modern and elegant element of gold stainless steel trim. A small partition space at the back corner also comes with a slide-and-hide door that provides space for children to play freely when they wish to do so.

Unique project highlights:

• Partition wall design between the hallway and the reception area is made with a combination of solid and airy wood slats. This adds great flair to the design. Moreover, the middle part of each side is filled with intricate details to add dimension; diamond pattern lining cloth or wood panel with letters
• Ceiling heights vary in different areas; the living room’s ceiling is 3.5 meters high to give the feeling of space and grandiosity. Whereas the ceiling in the hallway is 2.7 meters high but has a set of hidden lights along the side. The two contrast match themselves well when put together as a continuous space
• The zone in each section is clearly separated, yet they can be easily combined when needed. With the use of hidden doors, when all doors are opened, the design of every room comes together but remains consistent throughout the area
• We chose to use the original dark tones of the space to perfectly contrast with light tones. The use of these contrasts can be seen in the sofas that use dark tones and colorful pillows. The contrast also translates to the light wallpaper with details
