Viia G Condo Common Area [Individual Interior Design]

This is another condo design project that we have been assigned by a client. The concept of the work we received was to redesign the public area; public library and a sample showroom. Since the project has a solid concept planted, which is the Gatsby theme, we could primarily focus on the decoration of the space. Keeping in mind to merge the existing designs with new designs seamlessly. We selected similar color tones and materials that emphasized the unique luxury the theme is known for by choosing beige as the main color, then we paired orange and gray colors together so that it wouldn’t be too muted in beige. Using stainless steel in brass as a prominent element helped the whole area sparkle while retro-style furniture added a finishing touch to the Gatsby theme.

We designed the furniture that emphasized airiness and chose light color tones. Due to limited space, we created a mirror partition to give an illusion of increased space. Furniture was placed in a way that didn’t interrupt the eye, and created the illusion of width inside the room.
