“GloHow Thailand Office” – Bangkok Business Center @ BTS Ekkamai

We were delighted to be working with the BBC (Bangkok Business Center) building management team. After exploring and discussing the project with the customer, we learned the feeling was that the original structure of the area looked quite dark as the area had lot of separations and partitions, thus causing limited access of natural light to all areas of a 220 Sq.m office space. The original condition of the space was gave a very old and tiring impression, which would create a depressing atmosphere for the staff. Therefore main request from the customer was to create a bright modern space where 40-50 employees could work happily without stress.

We started from the demolition of the original flooring, ceiling panels and internal partitions to allow more natural light to enter the space. An additional customer’s request was to make space where everyone would be able to communicate easily and all areas to be connected, but still have some separations between teams. We decided to implement separation by using combined working desk stations as well as lighting planing which consisted of black square downlight and black pendant light. For these two we used different colors (warm white and day light) to create a comfortable and non-disturbing brightness for the eyes. As a final result we got a very similar effect to natural light which highly satisfied the customer. After removing old ceiling panels and refreshing the color of the red sprinkler pipe we made the space look more open and slotted in details of the industrial concept.

As can be noticed in the Layout, we kept only the AC Room and MD Room, but we also created an additional storage room because such a large office space would definitely need.

Finally, by mixing and matching light cream flooring and furniture together with dark grey / black elements our team was able to create an atmosphere and concept which satisfied the client and the whole team. More surprising for the client was that the BEYOND team was able to deliver such an impressive result within 14 days, whereas initial expected project timeline was 30 days.
