“White House” MooBaan LEON Sukhumvit 62 @ BTS Bangchak [Individual Interior Design]

Interesting Project, one of the unique Townhome projects located in the downtown area of Bangkok. At the initial stage we had an empty 3 storey property with very simple and basic finishing materials from the developer, which were much too basic and did not have a cozy feeling at all.

This location has 3 levels and we started with the designing of a new layout and functionality for each floor, and later on we moved towards the creation of a mood & tone concept.

On the first floor we removed all partitions and got rid of the closed kitchen in order to open up space and to improve flow. However, the living and dining area had been divided by a left & right wall with a dry-cut pattern net. The empty space behind the building had been converted into a proper backyard that contains a storage area, laundry area, and relaxing semi-outdoor zone.

Apart from this, the first floor saw one more big change – the demolition of ceramic tiles and installation of custom cut marble panels measuring 80×80 cm, which brighten up the space and provides a cool flooring effect at the same time. The concept for this whole floor was created in a white contemporary classic design of built-in furniture and wall decor, where we mainly used spray coated natural wood with a natural marble stone.

The second floor was separated into a Multipurpose Zone (Living & Working) using our Modern ZEN Concept and the Master Bedroom following our Contemporary Classic concept.

The third floor uses space for a Buddha Room, Working Room, and Maid Room. The main color used for this residence is “White” in order to brighten up the space due to limited natural sunlight and to also create a clean cozy feel of home in the heart of a busy downtown.
